The Hyannis Port Family Estate consists of several structures including a main house overlooking Hyannis Harbor and Nantucket Sound. The project is to design a new home for the client’s two of three sons who are married with young children. 

The house is approachable on both sides by car but connects to the compound on one side only. The living spaces are designed for large gatherings and smaller spaces are provided for a more intimate private setting. The second floor integrates two master bedroom suites at opposite ends of the house with a girls and boys bedroom in the middle for the children of both couples to share. Outdoor spaces are designed to integrate with the inside and provide protected areas for the children to play in.

The architectural style of the house is simple and similar to the existing secondary structures on the family compound.
