There are two historical buildings on the site, a house and a barn. The owner’s needed more living space and the barn was not being utilized at the time. They approached us to design an addition to the house and to renovate the barn. 

The scope of the project is to design a two storey extension at rear of the main house for a new kitchen and breakfast room on the first floor with a study on the second floor. The barn is to be converted to an artist’s studio with a loft. Both structures are detailed to respect the architecture of the buildings to create seamless integration.
